Bridgeport Theaters & Halloween Plays
For many, much of the excitement of Halloween is creating the perfect costume, and many local Bridgeport towns have parades to celebrate the Season, as well as their craftsmanship. Some Bridgeport parades include more than just locals in costume - they feature floats along with the endless sea of dressed up and decked out ghouls and goblins. Many Bridgeport parades even welcome participation from crowd members who are dressed to impress in their finest Halloween Getup, and some Parades even offer prizes for spectacular costume entries.

The 2026 event has a NEW location. We are moving to another museum, the Glass Museum in Coventry, to donate the profits to a another great site. Nightmare is in our 12th year of presenting creepy, haunting stories mostly based on history.
